Don't drink societies Koolaid

I need to address why I named my blog this. People seem to think that the Bible is boring or that the story of Jesus Christ is a little redundant. I know it's partly because with movies and TV people are spoiled to the point that they can't believe in anything they can't see.To me I see a thriller, mystery, horror story all in one in the Bible. People spend all their time watching Sci-Fi shows, horror movies, etc. when they could take a look at the story of Enoch who never died and yet is in heaven right now, or Moses who parted the red sea. Look at the story of Leviathan or read revelations and get a glimpse of heaven...the throne with a "rainbow that shone like an emerald" encircled around it. There are so many amazing things and stories in the Bible that are quite frankly hard to imagine. Why waste your time reading a million fiction stories when you can read non-fiction accounts by disciples, prophets, etc. of Jesus that can excite the imagination so much more because their real. Look at the story of Paul who was blinded by God and then given his sight back. Look at the story of Ezekiel who saw visions given to him from God in heaven. See how Ezekiel describes the four creatures that serve God. I know unbelievers will say that it's not real...there's is no possible way, but instead you believe that somehow monkeys adapted into humans or that somehow matter exploded in space and created the whole human race. This is also just a theory because no one was there when the earth or humans were made. You won't believe the Bible, but you believe some man-made idea. What I'm saying is don't walk around with a closed-mind pretending that it's really open. Don't call me narrow minded and simple for believing that their was a God who created a man from dust and a woman from his rib, and not looking into other more mind pleasing theories when you have already written off the story of Genesis as false. Listen the Bible is so much more important, or let me say a relationship with Jesus, which is strengthened through digging into the word. The Bible tells you where societies been and where it's going. If we don't get of this fright train then man will heap burning coals on our own heads The enemy only exist to steal, kill, and destroy, but he'll never make it obvious. Maybe he'll let you believe that you're not against God or the bible you're just not for it. Well let me clear that up. There is no lukewarm. As Joshua told the Israelites Joshua 24:15 "choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites." To make it more clear Mathew 6 24 "You cannot serve God and mammon." Tuning out the warnings of the Bible in order to pursue the things of this world is never the right decision. I don't know how to make the gospel exciting for you anymore than I've tried, but I do know that there's a lot in the gospel that's to your best interest to know.
